Junior Mechanical Engineer – UAV Systems

About the role

We are looking for a mechanically‑minded, hands‑on engineer to turn UAV concepts into real, flight‑ready hardware. You will design, prototype, assemble and test mechanical components for drone platforms, working closely with electronic and software teams to deliver production‑ready parts.

Key responsibilities

• Design mechanical components and subsystems for UAV platforms using CAD tools.
• Rapidly prototype parts with 3D printing, iterate from concept to bench‑tested prototype.
• Perform hands‑on assembly, soldering and integration of mechanical and electronic elements.
• Test designs on the bench, identify failure points and refine solutions.
• Collaborate across disciplines, switching between design software and physical build work as project needs evolve.

Required profile

• Demonstrated project where you solved a real‑world problem with a pragmatic solution.
• Proficiency in CAD design (SolidWorks preferred).
• Practical experience with 3D printing, soldering and mechanical assembly.
• Curious, practical mindset eager to build, test and iterate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, 0‑2 years of experience.
• Eligibility to obtain NATO security clearance.
