Junior Procurement Specialist (Dutch/English) – Hybrid (Berlin)

About the role

Join our Global Business Services team in Berlin as a Junior Procurement Specialist. You will support BASF’s European operations by managing day‑to‑day purchasing activities for raw materials, technical goods and services, using both Dutch and English.

Key responsibilities

• Execute Purchase‑to‑Pay processes and adhere to BASF procurement guidelines.
• Process orders, ensure timely deliveries, and manage non‑conformities.
• Maintain master data for contracts in SAP and other IT systems.
• Serve as the central contact for internal customers, suppliers, strategic buyers and finance colleagues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or a related field (or vocational education).
• Initial professional experience in business or commerce; purchasing experience is a plus.
• Fluent communication in Dutch and English; French or German are advantageous.
• Good knowledge of standard IT applications; SAP experience is a plus.
