Junior Project Manager – Remote

About the role

Alpine Business Consulting is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support senior consultants on a logistics client’s finance‑system overhaul. This entry‑level, fully remote position offers hands‑on experience with enterprise performance‑management projects and a chance to develop disciplined project‑management skills.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update project schedules, ensuring milestones are met.
• Attend client meetings, capture detailed notes, and circulate action items.
• Organize project folders and enforce internal naming conventions.
• Assist consultants in drafting configuration guides and user documentation for hand‑over.
• Monitor task completion, flagging potential delays to senior management.
• Prepare regular status reports that give the client transparent visibility of progress.
• Collect and clean project data for internal reporting.
• Support administrative steps required to close project phases and transition to the next.

Required profile

• A degree or recent coursework in business, project management, or a related field.
• Strong basic skills in spreadsheets and document organization.
• Excellent written communication without corporate jargon.
• High level of organization and interest in structured processes.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while staying closely connected to the team.
• Curiosity about finance systems and data reporting in large organizations.
