Junior Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join Crown’s commercial team on a major construction project in Frankfurt, Germany. The position is site‑based and rotational, with flights and accommodation provided, offering a fast‑track start to a commercial career in the building envelope sector.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing tender and pricing submissions.
• Carry out quantity take‑offs and produce Bills of Quantities.
• Support interim valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Help with procurement, supplier negotiations and subcontractor payment applications.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and cash flow.
• Maintain accurate commercial records, site documentation and contractual paperwork.
• Participate in value‑engineering and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Conduct site measurements and progress assessments.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong numerical, analytical and organisational abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Full driving licence and willingness to work away from home on a rotational basis.
