Junior Social Media Manager – Fashion E‑commerce

About the role

Spread Group is looking for a curious and passionate Junior Social Media Manager to help shape the online presence of its fashion e‑commerce brand. This fixed‑term position (parental‑leave cover, approx. 1 year) offers real ownership from concept to execution, working hybrid from our Berlin or Leipzig offices.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise, produce and edit social‑first content for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, including short‑form videos.
• Generate trend‑driven ideas and translate them into brand‑relevant posts and campaigns.
• Plan, schedule and publish content across all channels, maintaining a consistent cadence.
• Handle day‑to‑day channel operations: asset preparation, caption writing, hashtag research and publishing via Planoly and native platforms.
• Collaborate with copy, design, social, creative and influencer teams on larger campaigns and brand events.
• Manage community interaction by monitoring and responding to comments and DMs.
• Track performance metrics and share insights to inform future content decisions.

Required profile

• Experience in social media, content creation or a related role (agency, brand or strong personal portfolio).
• Hands‑on knowledge of TikTok and Instagram formats, trends and dynamics.
• Proficiency in short‑form video editing (CapCut or similar) and Canva for design.
• Strong copywriting skills for on‑brand captions.
• Organised, reliable and able to meet deadlines independently.
• Fluency in German (spoken and written) and English.
