Junior Tax Manager / Tax Specialist

About the role

The Junior Tax Manager / Tax Specialist will join DNV's Central Europe Tax Department, supporting tax compliance and operational tax processes for German and Austrian entities. The role focuses on Project Tax Screening, VAT support, and event taxation, acting as an operational hub that enables senior tax professionals to concentrate on strategic matters.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate Project Tax Screening (PTS) documentation in Salesforce.
• Assist with VAT tasks, including reconciliations of VAT returns and handling related queries.
• Support event taxation by reviewing event‑related expenses for tax implications.
• Execute recurring tax compliance activities such as DAC6 filings, withholding tax, and certificates of residence.
• Gather documentation and data for tax audits and internal compliance reviews.
• Maintain tax process documentation within the Tax Control Framework.
• Contribute to digital tool enhancements, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
