Key Account Manager – Independent Automotive Aftermarket (North Germany)

About the role

The Key Account Manager for Independent Automotive Aftermarket in North Germany will develop and execute sales strategies for distributors, wholesalers and workshops, aiming to achieve the local and national Annual Sales Plan. The role is preferably home‑based within the region and works closely with the DACH team and the European DENSO Aftermarket organization.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, sustainable relationships with customers at distributor, wholesale and workshop levels.
• Identify market development opportunities and new distribution channels.
• Generate sales and margin in line with the Annual Sales Plan.
• Plan, organise and execute local marketing campaigns and promotional activities in cooperation with MarCom and Product Management.
• Create and implement strategic account plans for assigned key accounts.
• Coordinate visits, sales activities and promotions with other KAMs across distribution levels.
• Organise and conduct commercial and technical seminars for distributors and workshops.
• Report turnover, profit contribution and campaign results to the Sales Manager regularly.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, competitor activity and customer solvency.

Required profile

• Several years of successful commercial experience in the independent automotive aftermarket.
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
