Kitchen Porter – Back of House Support

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Kitchen Porter to join the Back of House team at The Hoxton Charlottenburg in Berlin. Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will help keep the kitchen clean, organized and ready for service, supporting chefs and service staff in delivering high‑quality food experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a spotless and organized kitchen environment at all times.
• Set up and keep the back‑of‑house and pass areas tidy.
• Collect, wash and store pots, pans, plates and cutlery promptly.
• Ensure food preparation stations are clean and ready for use.
• Maintain a full stack of plates for kitchen use.
• Unload food and equipment deliveries and keep storage areas orderly.
• Monitor stock levels and inform the Head Chef when orders are needed (e.g., soap, detergents).
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Sanitise work surfaces, walls and floors regularly.
• Undertake any other reasonable requests from management.
