Labour Relations Specialist - EMEA - Hamburg

About the role

Join a dedicated HR compliance and employee relations team that ensures the company meets legal and regulatory requirements across the EMEA region. You will act as a strategic liaison between TikTok and works councils, supporting a fair, transparent, and supportive work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement works council strategies in partnership with global HR, legal, and business stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships with regional leadership and works council members, leading negotiations on IT updates, performance management, employee movement, and company policies.
• Provide expert advice to business leaders and HR Business Partners on co‑determination and labor law matters.
• Coordinate cross‑functional HR projects and serve as the EMEA regional coordinator for global initiatives.
• Manage day‑to‑day works council operations, including staff measures, queries, trainings, data requests, and process improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably with works council or employee relations exposure.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, mediation, and strategic writing abilities.
• Strong adaptability, conflict‑management skills, and a growth‑oriented mindset.
