Lead Engineer – Analog ASIC Design

About the role

Lead the development of analog ASIC solutions for automotive power management, providing technical leadership to sub‑teams and overseeing projects from concept to series release.

Key responsibilities

• Guide analog ASIC design sub‑teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Manage complex ASIC development projects across all lifecycle phases.
• Develop innovative concepts and circuits for Power Management ICs and System Basis Chips.
• Create new functions for ASIC circuit blocks in collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Harmonize solutions and procedures with customers and system architects.

Required profile

• Completed university studies in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field.
• Several years of professional experience in analog/mixed‑signal IC development with a focus on power management.
• Strong ownership mindset, teamwork orientation and ability to prioritize common goals.
• Very good English communication skills; German is a plus.

Required skills

• Design of DC/DC converters, buck/boost regulators, LDOs, gate drivers and current‑sense amplifiers.
• Application know‑how in Automotive Smart Power (System‑IC, PMIC).
• Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso and other industry‑standard EDA tools.
• Experience with hardware description languages such as Verilog‑A.
