Lead Mobile App Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Mobile App Developer to drive the creation of high‑quality Android and iOS applications used by customers worldwide. Based in Germany and working remotely, you will combine hands‑on engineering with technical leadership to shape our mobile product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of advanced mobile applications for Android and iOS.
• Define technical strategy, make architecture decisions, and enforce best‑practice development standards.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with designers, product owners, and cross‑functional teams to deliver intuitive user experiences.
• Integrate external APIs, data sources, and third‑party services.
• Write and maintain robust unit tests and monitor live app performance.
• Debug complex issues and continuously optimise code.
• Stay current with emerging mobile technologies and promote knowledge sharing within the team.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional mobile application development experience.
• Strong expertise in both Android and iOS platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of Kotlin, Java, and Swift for native development.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior engineers.
