Lead Supply Chain Quality Manager – Wing Moveables

About the role

Airbus Commercial in Bremen is seeking a Lead Supply Chain Quality Manager for the Wing Moveables portfolio. The role combines strategic oversight of a Tier‑1 supplier Task Force in Spain with hands‑on responsibility for supply‑chain quality management of a Single‑Aisle program entering serial industrialisation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary operational interface with suppliers, managing delivery, quality, compliance and contractual performance.
• Define and monitor long‑term Supplier Quality Improvement Plans and report results to senior leadership.
• Lead crisis‑management and recovery actions, coordinating cross‑functional sub‑work packages and ensuring business continuity.
• Conduct on‑site technical maturity gap analyses (PFMEA, MSA, Control Plans) and embed improvements into manufacturing documentation.
• Assess sub‑tier ramp‑up readiness, run on‑site “run@rate” exercises and manage inventory buffers, lead times and critical process‑mapping dashboards.
• Secure serial industrialisation operations for the Wing Moveables work package, coordinating with Airbus Commercial and other Business Units.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply‑chain quality management within aerospace or a comparable high‑tech industry.
• Strong knowledge of CFRP and metallic detail parts and their manufacturing processes.
• Ability to lead multi‑national supplier task forces and drive cross‑functional collaboration.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a focus on risk mitigation and continuous improvement.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
