Legal Counsel – Commercial Law (Munich)

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Legal Counsel to join our fast‑growing international technology company in Munich. The role offers broad exposure to commercial contracts, employment law, compliance and strategic business matters, working closely with cross‑functional teams across the EMEA region.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements such as SaaS contracts, software licences, service agreements, NDAs and data‑processing agreements.
• Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders in Sales, HR, Security and Operations.
• Support employment‑law issues and broader compliance initiatives.
• Collaborate with international legal teams throughout EMEA.
• Identify and implement legal process improvements in a technology‑focused environment.

Required profile

• German law degree with successful completion of the First State Examination (Erstes Staatsexamen).
• Minimum two years of legal experience in private practice or in‑house.
• Strong commercial contracting expertise.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Proactive, business‑oriented mindset and interest in fashion or technology.

Required skills

• Commercial contract drafting and negotiation.
• Knowledge of SaaS, software licensing and data‑protection regulations.
• Employment law and compliance fundamentals.
