Legal Counsel – Data Protection & IT Law

About the role

Join Hyundai AutoEver Europe as a Legal Counsel and support our European headquarters in Offenbach. You will provide practical legal advice across data protection, IT, and commercial law to help drive the success of our diverse business units.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate, draft and review contracts and legal documents.
• Support daily operations and assess legal risks of IT projects.
• Advise business units on data protection, IT, commercial and contract law.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and recommend actions.
• Design and implement standards to improve legal‑operations efficiency.
• Participate in internal compliance and certification efforts such as ISMS and ISO 27001.

Required profile

• Law degree (German "Volljurist") or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of privacy, IT, commercial, contract law and compliance.
• Fluent and precise written English.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse internal stakeholders.
• Professional demeanor when interacting with external service providers.
