Legal Counsel

About the role

POP MART is seeking a Legal Counsel to lead and manage all legal affairs for its German operations. The role will support key strategic initiatives, ensure compliance with group policies, and act as the primary legal point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and finalize a wide range of contracts and agreements, including commercial, vendor, partnership, lease and construction documents.
• Provide dedicated legal support for strategic projects in Germany, advising from inception to completion.
• Conduct legal research and manage legal risks related to offline and online operations.
• Ensure compliance with German regulatory requirements and group‑level policies.
• Independently manage comprehensive legal projects and advisory tasks.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with a strong understanding of German law.
• Proven ability to work independently on complex legal projects.
• Excellent analytical, research and communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with internal teams, group headquarters and governmental bodies.
