Legal Counsel (m/f/d)

About the role

J&T Express, a fast‑growing international logistics company expanding its network across Germany, is looking for a Legal Counsel to join its early‑stage team. The role will help build and scale legal structures, processes and frameworks in a dynamic, operational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide practical, business‑oriented legal advice to operations, logistics and commercial teams.
• Review, draft and negotiate a variety of contracts such as service agreements, supplier contracts and NDAs.
• Ensure compliance with German and European regulations.
• Act as the primary legal contact for internal stakeholders.
• Support dispute handling, risk assessment and mitigation.
• Collaborate with HR, operations and management on legal matters.

Required profile

• Degree in Law (German law or comparable qualification).
• First experience in a legal role, either in‑house or at a law firm.
• Strong understanding of German legal frameworks.
• Business‑oriented mindset with a hands‑on approach.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, international environment.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Experience in logistics or a related industry is a strong plus.
