Logistics & Distribution Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics & Distribution Coordinator to join our Japanese forwarding company in Düsseldorf. The role involves managing order processing, freight booking and inventory activities while supporting customers across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Process orders, allocate and dispatch inventory, and handle related follow‑up tasks.
• Obtain price quotations for truck freight, purchase capacity and book carriers for transportation.
• Manage inventory, monitor stock levels and report status to customers.
• Verify and post incoming invoices, maintain billing data and prepare outgoing invoices.
• Correspond with customers and manage customer/product master data in the warehouse management system.
• Prepare for inventory counts and assist with stock‑taking audits.

Required profile

• Fluent German (C1) and English (B2) communication skills.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
• Initial professional experience in logistics or freight forwarding is desirable.
• Experience in customer contact and support.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding and transport operations.
