Logistics Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Operations Manager to lead day‑to‑day logistics activities across our German sites. You will ensure reliable, agile operations that meet delivery deadlines, maintain accurate order fulfillment, and support both domestic and international supply chains.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily logistics operations, managing third‑party (3PL) warehouses and data‑center logistics in assigned locations.
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators, vendor scorecards, and develop business cases for process enhancements.
• Optimize transportation routes, carrier selection, and modes to reduce costs while maintaining service quality.
• Drive budgeting, invoice control, and capital improvement projects.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on program‑management initiatives and global systems strategy.
• Implement sustainability measures such as greener supplier choices, eco‑friendly packaging, and load planning to lower carbon footprint.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Operations, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of logistics operations experience.
• At least 5 years managing domestic and international vendors or 3PL providers.
• Customer‑facing experience supporting logistics operations.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Preferred: Master’s degree, CSCMP certification, and experience with data‑center logistics.
