Logistics Service Coordinator – Ocean Freight Export

About the role

PSA BDP is seeking an experienced Logistics Service Coordinator to manage ocean freight export operations from its Düsseldorf office. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers and overseas agents, ensuring shipments are planned, booked, and tracked efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Independently handle ocean freight export shipments from order creation to delivery.
• Plan, book, and create transport orders while tracking and tracing shipments.
• Report non‑conformances against KPIs and cooperate with approved subcontractors.
• Provide customer support and coordinate with overseas houses and agents.
• Register and process complaints, meet deadlines, and prepare order settlements.
• Process incoming invoices, optimise workflows, and monitor results.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, SQAS standards and ensure accurate data maintenance.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in ocean freight export.
• Commercial training, preferably as a freight forwarding or logistics services coordinator.
• Proven ability to handle ocean freight export shipments.
• Strong command of German and English, both written and spoken.
• Adaptability to changing policies and procedures.

Required skills

• Proficient use of MS Office applications.
