Logistics Service Coordinator – Ocean Freight Export

About the role

Join PSA BDP’s Düsseldorf team as a Logistics Service Coordinator focused on ocean freight export. You will be responsible for managing export shipments from start to finish, ensuring compliance with internal standards and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Independently handle ocean freight export shipments, from planning to execution.
• Book transport, create orders, and track shipments throughout the export process.
• Report non‑conformities against key performance indicators.
• Coordinate with approved subcontractors and maintain agreed rates.
• Provide PSA BDP customer support and liaise with overseas houses/agents.
• Register and process complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
• Prepare order settlements and process incoming invoices.
• Optimize workflows, monitor results, and maintain ISO 9001 and SQAS data standards.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in ocean freight export handling.
• Commercial training, preferably as a freight forwarding or logistics services coordinator.
• Strong command of German and English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures.

Required skills

• Proficient use of MS Office applications.
