M&A Analyst – Graduate Role in Frankfurt

About the role

We are partnering with a leading insurance underwriter in Frankfurt to recruit a recent graduate for an M&A Analyst position. This role offers exposure to high‑profile insurance M&A transactions and the chance to work alongside seasoned underwriting professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Support M&A insurance deals by coordinating processes and preparing transaction documentation such as closing checklists, certificates, and memoranda.
• Review transaction documents and assist in assessing legal and commercial risks.
• Conduct due diligence by gathering, organizing, and analysing corporate records, contracts, and financial information of target companies.
• Prepare and review ancillary documents including NDAs, consents, officer certificates, and closing deliverables.
• Collaborate with underwriters, brokers, advisors, and clients throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Contribute to risk evaluation and underwriting decisions while managing multiple live transactions in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (2024‑2026) in Law, Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting or a related field.
• Previous internship experience in M&A, transaction services, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or deal advisory.
• Strong understanding of M&A processes, due diligence, and deal execution.
• Excellent analytical abilities with a focus on interpreting complex information.
