M&A Underwriter – Insurance Brokerage

About the role

You will assess and underwrite risks arising from mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions. Working closely with brokers, clients, and advisors, you will deliver tailored insurance solutions that protect deal participants.

Key responsibilities

Evaluate client information and analyse the risk profile of potential M&A transactions.
Decide whether to offer insurance coverage based on risk analysis.
Calculate the cost of providing the policy and set the premium price.
Structure and price insurance policies to meet transaction needs.
Draft and negotiate policy terms and coverage details.
Collaborate with brokers, tax lawyers, and clients on live deals.
Support the deal process under tight timelines.

Required profile

Background in M&A or Warranty & Indemnity (W&I) insurance.
Qualified lawyer with relevant legal credentials.
