Maintenance Engineer (d/m/w)

About the role

Airbus is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (d/m/w) to join its largest civil‑aircraft production site in Hamburg. The role supports acquisition projects of new assets, ensuring that maintainability is built‑in from design through entry into service.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance tasks in line with the annual budget, preventive maintenance plans and unplanned interventions.
• Validate the quality of documentation and training received before entry into service.
• Set up and maintain preventive maintenance schedules, including spare‑parts stock management.
• Analyse failures and common faults, applying PPS methodology to define corrective actions.
• Contribute to plant‑availability and performance KPIs in line with technical objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in industrial maintenance or asset management within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ISO 55000 principles and maintenance planning processes.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate technical information clearly.
• Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.
