Manager FP&A – Central Europe

About the role

As a Manager FP&A for Central Europe, you will join the Strategic Finance & Strategy team at Universal Music’s Berlin headquarters. You will act as a key interface between Central Europe management and local operating companies across more than 15 markets, supporting decision‑making and business performance steering.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular reviews of OpCo financials to assess performance, outlook and statement integrity.
• Coordinate forecasting and planning processes, including top‑down planning, management meetings and financial roll‑ups.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardisation of FP&A processes, reporting, financial models and dashboards, including automation and BI solutions.
• Perform financial benchmarking and competitive market analyses to support business steering.
• Support and coordinate strategic business initiatives across Central Europe markets (e.g., D2C business).

Required profile

• Strong academic background in Finance, Economics, Business or related field (Bachelor’s required, Master’s preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, Corporate Finance, Management Consulting or a similar analytical finance role.
• Excellent financial analysis, business performance evaluation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience working in an international, cross‑functional environment.
