Mandatory Internship – Development & Validation of Automotive SDV Software

About the role

We are looking for a motivated student to join our Stuttgart team for a mandatory 6‑month internship focused on developing and validating embedded software for automotive Software Defined Vehicles (SDV). You will work with C/C++ in Linux‑based environments, supporting integration, testing and performance optimisation of vehicle software components.

Key responsibilities

• Develop embedded software components using C/C++.
• Work with Linux development tools and version control (Git).
• Assist in software integration, testing, debugging and validation.
• Analyse and optimise software performance and reliability.
• Document results and present findings to project stakeholders.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a university program in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical or Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• Self‑motivated team player with good communication skills.
• Structured and analytical approach to work.
• Interest in embedded systems and automotive software development.
• Very good English proficiency.
