Manufacturing Engineer – Precision Metal & MIM

About the role

Yibi Precision is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support Metal Injection Molding (MIM) and precision metal component projects for global industrial and technology‑driven clients. The role collaborates closely with engineering, tooling, production, quality and commercial teams to ensure manufacturing feasibility, sample development, process improvement and smooth mass‑production ramp‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Review customer drawings, technical requirements, specifications and tolerances for manufacturing feasibility.
• Support DFM reviews, sample development, trial production and process validation for MIM and precision metal parts.
• Work with tooling, production and quality teams to identify risks and improve manufacturing solutions.
• Assist new product introduction from early technical evaluation through stable mass production.
• Analyze production issues and drive improvements in stability, yield, consistency and efficiency.
• Optimize processes related to materials, forming, sintering, machining, surface finishing and quality control.
• Prepare technical documents, process records, sample feedback and project reports.
• Coordinate internal teams to meet customer requirements, delivery timelines and technical problem‑solving.
• Support continuous‑improvement activities targeting quality, cost, delivery and productivity.

Required profile

• Experience in manufacturing precision metal components, MIM, CNC machining, powder metallurgy or related industrial fields.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and tolerances.
• Practical problem‑solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering, production, tooling, quality and commercial teams.
• Willingness to learn and support projects from technical evaluation to mass production.
