MAP Specialist – Composite Analyses (d/f/m)

About the role

Airbus Commercial is seeking a MAP Specialist in Composite Analyses to join a transnational engineering team based in Stade, Germany. The role focuses on the analysis, validation and continuous improvement of composite and hybrid structures within a production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and validate static and fatigue strength of composite and hybrid structures.
• Evaluate non‑conformities, develop repair solutions and ensure acceptance of damaged parts.
• Guarantee compliance with airworthiness regulations, design principles, manufacturing processes and engineering standards.
• Investigate root causes of structural deviations and define corrective actions.
• Collaborate closely with design offices across Europe, production teams and other operational units.
• Support digitalisation initiatives such as Skywise and automate non‑conformity handling.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement projects aimed at product quality and manufacturing performance.

Required profile

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field.
• Experience with composite structures, structural analysis and Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (F&DT).
• Strong understanding of engineering validation methods, manufacturing processes and airworthiness requirements in a production setting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Fluent in English and German.
• Eligibility for security clearance.
