Market Fleet Manager - DACH

About the role

We are seeking a Market Fleet Manager for the DACH region to join the DACH Operations Leadership Team. Reporting to the Business Director – DACH, you will oversee fleet availability, repair turnaround, cost efficiency and quality across more than 4,000 vehicles and 40 stations.

Key responsibilities

• Own the maintenance, repair and fleet transfer budget, ensuring cost‑efficient, high‑quality repairs.
• Define repair strategies per vehicle based on damage reports and operational priorities.
• Maintain strong vehicle availability by coordinating workshop capacity, scheduling and spare‑parts flow.
• Build and optimise the internal and external workshop network to improve turnaround times and cost efficiency.
• Lead and develop station fleet teams (fleet managers, technicians, damage‑detection experts) to ensure consistent performance.
• Track key KPIs such as repair cost, repair time and damage‑detection accuracy and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree or apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in fleet management, maintenance/repair or workshop management.
• 5+ years of direct people‑management experience in a technical or operational environment.
• Strong analytical and budgeting skills with a focus on efficiency and quality.
• Fluent in German and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Proficiency with Oracle.
• Experience with maintenance or fleet‑management systems.
