Member of Technical Staff – Agent Engineer

About the role

We are building production‑grade AI agents for highly regulated sectors such as health insurance, banking, and the public sector. As a Member of Technical Staff – Agent Engineer you will use agentic coding tools to create, evaluate, and harden these agents, continuously feeding insights back into the next generation of tooling and models.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage coding agents (e.g., Claude, Codex) to improve the agents you build and ship.
• Work across the full stack – frontend, backend, infrastructure, data, and the AI layer – to solve the hardest problems.
• Take AI agents from prototype to production in regulated environments, ensuring reliability, auditability, and compliance.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery: design, implement, deploy, and maintain reliable systems.
• Deep‑dive into distributed systems, infrastructure, and LLM behavior to debug and make informed decisions under uncertainty.
• Stay ahead of rapid model and tool updates, testing new releases early and integrating successful advances.

Required profile

• Generalist mindset: strong in at least one area and comfortable picking up new stack components quickly.
• Proven experience using coding agents as a primary development workflow, with concrete examples of shipped work.
• Solid mental model of how LLMs and agents operate, why they fail, and how to make non‑deterministic systems dependable.
• Strong engineering judgment: ability to read unfamiliar code, detect agent drift, and design robust architectures.
