MEP Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated MEP Engineer to support the development of next‑generation AI data centre infrastructure in Germany. The role combines mechanical and electrical engineering tasks, offering exposure to mission‑critical design, feasibility studies and construction readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Support technical evaluation and development of AI‑focused data centre projects across mechanical and electrical domains.
• Conduct due‑diligence activities for prospective sites, colocation facilities and build‑to‑suit opportunities.
• Prepare calculations, equipment comparisons and engineering summaries for risk assessments and Go/No‑Go decisions.
• Assess cooling systems, power distribution solutions and infrastructure options against site conditions and capacity requirements.
• Track equipment availability, vendor constraints, technical assumptions and cost impacts.
• Create and maintain technical standards, checklists, templates and evaluation processes.
• Document design assumptions, equipment specifications and readiness criteria for project hand‑off.
• Collaborate with consulting engineers, vendors and internal teams to gather information and ensure alignment.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, MEP design or related fields.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in an evolving, fast‑moving environment.
• Experience with data centre or mission‑critical infrastructure projects is a plus.
• Effective communication and teamwork with senior engineers and cross‑functional stakeholders.
