Metal Forming Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Metal Forming Engineer to develop, stabilize and scale metal forming processes for high‑performance components used in spaceflight. The role is critical to ensure structural integrity and reliability of composite overwrapped pressure vessels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize metal forming processes for precision and speed.
• Ensure process stability, repeatability and consistent quality.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of defects and drive corrective actions.
• Analyze process data, reduce variability and improve efficiency.
• Define and document process standards and prepare processes for industrialization.
• Collaborate with design, materials and production teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science or related field.
• Several years of experience in metal forming, process engineering or manufacturing, preferably in aerospace or automotive environments.
• Strong understanding of material behavior during forming.
