Mobile App Engineer (React Native)

About the role

We are looking for an early‑stage Mobile App Engineer to join acemate’s fast‑growing team. You will own the mobile product’s architecture and user experience, building the foundation of our AI‑powered learning platform from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the app’s UI architecture, state management, API integration and performance monitoring.
• Take end‑to‑end ownership of features, from code writing and shipping to production monitoring and iteration.
• Build a scalable, maintainable mobile foundation using patterns such as MVVM or TCA, supporting real‑time synchronization, offline‑first capabilities and streaming AI responses.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensure strict type safety, and maintain a consistent user experience across the codebase.

Required profile

• Strong experience with TypeScript and React Native.
• Proven ability to own features through the full development lifecycle.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced startup environment.
• Understanding of how to leverage AI tools while maintaining solid coding fundamentals.
• Passion for the mission of democratizing personalized education.
