Mobile Crane Operator (250-300 tons)

About the role

Our client, a specialist contractor in the construction and infrastructure sector, is seeking an experienced Mobile Crane Operator for a six‑month contract in Wuppertal, Germany. The role supports heavy‑lifting and logistics activities on complex industrial and energy projects across Central Europe, with a strong focus on safety and technical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Relocate and operate mobile cranes with a lifting capacity of 250‑300 tons, as well as auxiliary cranes on site.
• Perform rigging and de‑rigging tasks required for each lift.
• Carry out daily crane inspections, maintenance checks and report any issues.
• Support general site duties, including coordination with the logistics team.

Required profile

• Valid Crane License for mobile cranes.
• Current medical / fit‑to‑work certification.
• Driving licence.
• GWOs certification G41 and G25 (to be confirmed).
• A1 licence for Germany (required for freelance arrangements).
• Willingness to relocate to Wuppertal for the contract duration.
