Mobile Engineer – iOS

About the role

We are looking for an iOS Mobile Engineer to join PAYBACK’s Digital Sales team in Berlin. You will help build and maintain scalable iOS applications that enable millions of customers to collect and redeem points through our shopping app and web portals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new features in an agile environment using SwiftUI, Combine and Swift Concurrency.
• Participate in code reviews and pair‑programming sessions.
• Explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Investigate and fix defects, monitor Crashlytics/Firebase and resolve issues.
• Refactor code for performance, clean architecture and modularity.
• Maintain and improve CI pipelines and Jenkins build/deployment processes.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Swift and iOS development.
• Hands‑on knowledge of reactive programming and modern design patterns (MVVM, MVC, TCA).
• Proficiency with UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine and Swift Concurrency.
• Experience writing unit tests and using Swift Package Manager.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and modular architecture design.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work with product owners in an agile setting.
