Near Patient Nurse (Hybrid) – Stuttgart Region

About the role

This position is designed for experienced hospital nurses who want a predictable schedule, no night shifts, and the chance to work across German hospitals and international medical teams. Based in the Stuttgart region, the role combines on‑site visits with remote coordination to support the TRICARE Overseas Program.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the clinical link between local German hospitals and international stakeholders, ensuring continuity of care.
• Monitor inpatient stays, manage clinical cases and guarantee patient safety standards.
• Produce accurate medical reports in English and communicate updates to physicians and nursing teams.
• Assist patients in understanding diagnoses, treatment plans and navigating the German healthcare system.
• Coordinate safe discharges and maintain follow‑up care across borders.
• Build and sustain professional relationships with healthcare providers and contribute to quality assessments.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (Pflegefachkraft / Gesundheits‑ und Krankenpfleger) with at least 3 years of bedside experience in an inpatient setting.
• Active registration to practice nursing in Germany.
• Fluent German and English (minimum B2 level).
• Strong communication, independent work style and confidence with digital documentation systems.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the region.

Required skills

• Proficiency in German and English language communication.
• Experience with digital health record systems.
