About the role
We are a US‑based law firm operating in Munich and are seeking an experienced Office Manager to support the Managing Partner. This fixed‑term position (12‑14 months) combines HR, operations, and finance responsibilities while offering a hybrid work model.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily HR functions including compensation, benefits, policies, employee relations and recruitment.
- Manage office operations, purchasing, and vendor relationships to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Coordinate professional development initiatives and support strategic HR projects.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all operational decisions and liaise closely with senior leadership.
Required profile
- Minimum five years of office management experience in a professional services environment.
- Proven ability to handle routine and complex HR issues.
- Fluent in both German and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time‑management and organizational abilities, capable of juggling multiple detailed projects.
