Offshore Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for a senior Offshore Project Manager to lead the planning, execution and close‑out of an HVAC condenser replacement on an operational offshore substation. The role is based in Essen with remote and offshore work components and runs until 31 May 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the overall project execution strategy, scope, schedule and success criteria.
• Lead cross‑functional teams across engineering, procurement, marine operations and commissioning, ensuring alignment and timely delivery.
• Plan and manage the offshore campaign, including vessel and crane logistics, outage coordination and safety compliance.
• Oversee contract and commercial aspects, monitor supplier performance, handle change requests and resolve disputes.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, issues and dependencies throughout the lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale offshore projects, preferably in the energy or industrial sector.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and offshore substation operations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder interfaces.
• Excellent understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations for offshore work.
