Online Economics Teacher (A-Level) – Remote (Germany)

About the role

We are seeking experienced secondary‑level Economics teachers to deliver one‑on‑one online lessons to motivated students worldwide. The role is fully remote, based in Germany, and focuses on IAS Economics aligned with Cambridge, Edexcel or A‑Level curricula.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver personalized virtual Economics lessons in a one‑to‑one setting.
• Adapt instructional strategies and digital resources to each student’s learning style.
• Assess progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust lesson plans accordingly.
• Prepare lesson plans, homework, assessments and examination materials.
• Facilitate interactive classes using online teaching platforms while maintaining a professional atmosphere.
• Manage course content and assessments within the LMS.
• Contribute to the creation of reusable educational resources.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of classroom teaching experience at Levels 7‑13 (tutoring alone is insufficient).
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics or a closely related field.
• Strong knowledge of Cambridge, Edexcel or A‑Level Economics curricula and exam standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with online teaching platforms and virtual instruction.
• Strong organizational and classroom‑management abilities in an online environment.
• Teaching qualification (license, degree in education or postgraduate certification) preferred.
