Online Marketing Specialist

About the role

Optris is looking for an Online Marketing Specialist to strengthen its digital presence and drive measurable business growth. You will own the company website, create marketing assets, and run campaigns across email and social channels.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, structure, and continuously improve the WordPress/WooCommerce website and its integration with the Plytix PIM system.
• Ensure data consistency and product data synchronization across the website and PIM.
• Manage WordPress environment issues, including plugins, layout/content problems, and basic debugging; coordinate technical fixes with developers.
• Boost SEO performance through on‑page optimization such as metadata, keyword usage, and content structure.
• Create marketing assets using AI‑based tools, Figma, and Adobe Illustrator for digital and print applications.
• Plan, execute, and optimise email and digital marketing campaigns, taking full ownership of newsletters and workflow automation.
• Develop and manage social media activities with a focus on performance and engagement.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on website and campaign performance using analytics tools, providing actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven hands‑on experience managing CMS platforms, especially WordPress/WooCommerce.
• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and on‑page optimisation.
• Experience with analytics tools and performance tracking for websites and campaigns.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate with external partners, developers, and service providers.
• Valid German work permit or residence.
