Onsite Construction Manager – Photovoltaic Systems (Germany)

About the role

You will lead day‑to‑day construction activities on utility‑scale photovoltaic (PV) sites across Germany. Acting as the main liaison between the project team, subcontractors and other stakeholders, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all on‑site construction activities.
• Supervise subcontractors and external contractors across civil works, electrical installation, mounting structures and PV module installation.
• Monitor project progress, quality, compliance and safety.
• Support planning, technical development and review of electrical works and documentation.
• Conduct quality assurance inspections, produce site reports and maintain project documentation.
• Assist with testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Identify and resolve on‑site issues to keep projects on schedule.

Required profile

• Proven experience in site management, construction supervision or Bauleitung.
• Background in photovoltaics, renewable energy, electrical construction or a related sector.
• Technical qualification, vocational training or engineering degree.
• Strong organisational, communication and safety awareness.
• Fluent German and English, full driving licence and willingness to travel across Germany.
