Onsite IT Support Technician – Nuremberg

About the role

AVASO Technology is looking for an experienced Onsite IT Support Technician to join its Nuremberg office. You will provide fast, reliable desktop support to internal users, both on‑site and remotely, ensuring that hardware, software and network issues are resolved efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site and remote desktop support for end‑users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network problems.
• Install, configure and maintain PCs, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Deploy operating systems, updates and software packages.
• Perform system audits, keep devices secure and up‑to‑date.
• Create and deliver end‑user training and technical documentation.
• Manage support tickets and collaborate with the IT team for escalations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in desktop or IT support.
• Fluent in English and German (B2 level or higher).
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Windows OS, macOS and Linux environments.
• Active Directory user and group management.
• Remote desktop tools and troubleshooting techniques.
• Networking protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
• MS Office Suite and other productivity software.
• Hardware diagnostics, repair and replacement.
• System imaging and deployment tools (SCCM, MDT).
• ITIL incident, problem and change management processes.
• Cloud applications: Microsoft 365, Google Workspace.
• IT security best practices.
