Operations Customer & Logistics Coordinator – Düsseldorf

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Customer & Logistics Coordinator to join a leading logistics and e‑mobility provider in Düsseldorf. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, drivers and internal teams, ensuring smooth end‑to‑end logistics while supporting the company’s sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries on deliveries, returns, charging services and fleet availability via phone, email and ticketing systems.
• Schedule pickups and deliveries, optimise routes and manage real‑time exceptions to meet service level agreements.
• Coordinate with carriers, drivers, third‑party providers and internal operations to guarantee reliable service.
• Support the e‑mobility programme by booking charging slots, liaising with station operators and monitoring vehicle charge levels.
• Process shipments, returns and inventory movements in the warehouse management system, keeping accurate records.
• Monitor KPIs, generate operational reports and identify efficiency improvements.
• Investigate and resolve customer incidents, escalating complex cases when necessary.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement projects and help onboard new operations staff.

Required profile

• Fluent German and strong English communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain or business administration.
• At least 2 years of experience in logistics operations, customer service or e‑mobility fleet management.
• Practical knowledge of transport planning, carrier management and warehouse processes.
• Interest in sustainable transport and e‑mobility concepts.
