Operations Performance & Continuous Improvement Leader

About the role

Join Airbus Helicopters in Donauwörth as the Operations Performance & Continuous Improvement (PCI) Leader. You will drive the deployment of the Airbus Operating System (AOS) across operations, focusing on industrial basics, continuous improvement, and performance acceleration.

Key responsibilities

• Define PCI priorities and strategic roadmap with top management.
• Cascade yearly PCI objectives to operational teams.
• Deploy Value Stream Analysis (VSA) and Kaizen initiatives to improve industrial flow efficiency.
• Coach managers on Gemba On‑Job‑Training and recognize team progress.
• Structure, motivate, and develop the local PCI network.
• Organise best‑practice sharing and return‑on‑experience sessions.
• Support and develop managers, local PCI leaders, and improvers through training plans.
• Increase maturity of industrial management basics (KPI Tree, 5S, QRQC, etc.).
• Define and manage continuous improvement plans to boost SQCDP performance.
• Facilitate performance diagnosis and improvement initiatives (OEE, SMED, line balancing, etc.).

Required profile

• Proven experience in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing within an industrial environment.
• Strong leadership skills to drive cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to work closely with senior management and operational staff.
