Operations Specialist – E‑Bike Marketplace (Berlin)

About the role

Workster Jobs is looking for a detail‑oriented Operations Specialist to join its fast‑growing E‑Bike Marketplace team in Berlin. You will ensure smooth daily operations, optimise e‑bike logistics and help shape the future of urban mobility.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the Berlin E‑Bike Marketplace, keeping processes efficient.
• Serve as the main contact for riders, suppliers and internal teams on operational matters.
• Coordinate scheduling, handover and maintenance logistics of e‑bikes between users and partners.
• Monitor platform performance, analyse data and deliver actionable insights.
• Work closely with product, customer support and logistics to create seamless marketplace experiences.
• Identify bottlenecks in the e‑bike lifecycle and propose solutions.
• Document best practices to support scalability across Berlin and future locations.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new users, partners or team members.
• Resolve user inquiries promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Stay informed on e‑bike market trends, regulations and urban mobility innovations.

Required profile

• Fluent English (business level); German is a strong plus.
• At least 2 years of experience in operations, logistics, mobility or a similar marketplace environment.
• Strong organisational abilities and capacity to juggle multiple tasks.
• Hands‑on experience with operational tools, digital platforms and data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
• Analytical thinker with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset.
• Self‑motivated team player comfortable in a fast‑growing, international setting.
• Passion for sustainable mobility and innovative transport solutions.
