Order Management Intern (German-speaking)

About the role

GE Healthcare offers a one-year fixed-term internship in the Clinical Accessories Order Management team. You will work alongside order management and customer service professionals on the execution of customer orders in the DACH region, supporting the sales teams and helping the wider supply chain organisation meet its annual goals.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and book customer orders accurately and in line with compliance requirements
• Manage the open orders backlog so that orders are fulfilled, delivered, invoiced and closed on time
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders such as commercial, manufacturing, finance, logistics, warehouse, controllership and transport companies
• Identify and escalate order execution risks and issues
• Process returns and out-of-box failures
• Order demo inventory to support commercial sales
• Create and update work instructions and job aids
• Handle customer inquiries

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme (or equivalent) in a relevant field
• Availability of at least 24 hours per week; staying in the internship for at least one year is preferred
• Fluent written and spoken English and German; additional European languages are an asset
• Strong work ethic, able to work independently and in a team

Required skills

• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook, with the ability to learn new systems
• Effective time management and organisational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
