Original Production Trainee

About the role

The Original Production Trainee will join Disney+’s Original Productions team in Germany, supporting the development and execution of local TV and streaming projects. This role offers a hands‑on introduction to the full production lifecycle within a leading international entertainment company.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development of commissioned productions, from concept to delivery.
• Support producers across all stages of development and production.
• Manage the flow of project‑relevant information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Gain exposure to press/PR, marketing, dubbing and streaming distribution processes.

Required profile

• Completed university degree or training in media, theatre, literature, film studies or a related field.
• First professional experience in TV or streaming.
• Strong knowledge of the German and international TV/streaming landscape.
• Quick learner, independent, reliable, flexible and well‑organized.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English.
• Team‑oriented, communicative and highly motivated.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common PC applications, especially MS Office.
• Basic script development abilities.
