PDU Systems Designer (m/f/d) – PCB Design

About the role

As a Designer PDU Systems you will create electromechanical PCB‑based power distribution units for off‑highway, commercial vehicles and e‑mobility applications. You will work in a fast‑moving environment where safety, efficiency and sustainability are paramount.

Key responsibilities

• Design electromechanical PCB‑based PDU systems for automotive and e‑mobility projects.
• Capture schematics of customer systems using ECAD tools.
• Create concepts, component placement and routing in Altium Designer.
• Perform high‑current layout routing, generate documentation and conduct design reviews.
• Collaborate with project engineering, mechanical and production teams to develop innovative solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechatronic or Electrical Engineering or equivalent with PCB design experience.
• Knowledge of power current distribution and thermal‑management techniques.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer or other ECAD software.
• Good German and very good English communication skills.
• Technically strong, organized and dedicated work approach.
