People Operations Specialist - French Speaking

About the role

The People Operations Specialist will join the EMEA People Operations team, reporting to the Team Lead. Based in Berlin, this role supports managers and employees across French, German and other EMEA locations, handling onboarding, off‑boarding, Workday transactions, benefits, and day‑to‑day HR administration.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate new‑hire orientation, background checks and onboarding processes.
• Process salary changes, promotions, transfers, bonuses and relocations in Workday.
• Administer employee benefits, answer benefit queries and manage vendor relationships.
• Handle immigration administration, contractor agreements and renewals.
• Provide HRIS support and generate Excel reports for HR metrics.
• Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate and timely salary and bonus payments.
• Lead People Operations projects aimed at improving processes and employee service.

Required profile

• 1‑5 years of experience in a People Operations or HR transactional role.
• Fluent in English, French and German.
• BS or BA in Human Resources or related field preferred.
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent written and verbal communication.
