About the role

The NUCLEATE Excellence Cluster at the University of Würzburg invites outstanding candidates to join as PhD or postdoctoral researchers in nucleic acid sciences. You will become part of an international, interdisciplinary team focused on cutting‑edge research and scientific excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent research projects within the NUCLEATE Cluster.
• Collaborate with international scientists across multiple laboratories.
• Present research findings at international conferences and contribute to high‑impact publications.
• Participate in structured mentoring and training programs.

Required profile

• For PhD candidates: a Master’s degree or equivalent in life sciences, chemistry, medicine, pharmaceutical sciences, bioinformatics, biotechnology or a related discipline.
• For postdoctoral candidates: a doctoral degree in one of the above fields.
• Strong motivation to work in an interdisciplinary, international research environment.
