PHP Application Developer (Permanent)

About the role

We are looking for an Application Developer specialized in PHP to join our team in Haar. You will design, develop and maintain bespoke applications and services that support FWW’s data offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new web‑based applications and APIs according to client specifications.
• Maintain and update existing solutions, including code rewrites, rebranding and customer change requests.
• Build and enhance the core FWW infrastructure, adding data layers, visualization tools and frameworks.
• Create and maintain supporting processes for internal automation and customer‑specific needs.
• Provide technical support to other departments and assess new requirements.

Required profile

• Strong experience with SQL databases, especially MariaDB and SQLite.
• Proficiency in PHP and Bash (Unix shell) scripting.
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript for web development.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux system administration.
• Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
